We had our most successful Orientation yet. I was so happy to see the long lines for the BBQ afterwards and it was great to meet you!
I wanted to share a few things that are coming up in the next few days.
GSAC information meeting
The first information meeting is about to start in my office at 3 p.m. today (Thursday August 28) There will be a second one on Friday August 29th at 10 a.m. If you are interested in serving on the Graduate Student Advisory Council I would love to see you at one of these meetings.
Our First workshop of the year
If you have not already signed up hop over to our website and sign up for our first workshop which will be held on Tuesday September 2nd.
September 2, 2014 Graduate Student Resources - Library 3rd floor Biblab - 3-4 p.m. This
workshop will introduce graduate students to the wide variety of
services and resources available to them in print and electronically via
the RIT Libraries web site. Searching, citation management, and
meetings with college librarians will also be discussed. Attend to
learn important information to get a jump on your thesis or dissertation
research!
